Amy Ishii catches up on some reading... I may have got slightly carried away printing out some 1:6 comicbooks ;)

I told myself, no more books today. Then, I had found these on my desk.

This is from an image previously added to this image. Here we see it evolve into a comic strip, particularly in the upper left. If anyone is interested there is a larger version of this, an image that covers more of the original image.

... as I was saying, I might have gotten *slightly* carried away making a few 1:6 comicbooks - ended up with 180 of them! These are just 'prop comics' - covers glued onto a piece of card, there are no internal pages.

A lot were scanned from my own collection (which explains all the Defenders issues!) but plenty of others were found on line, especially the vintage stuff (like the first issue FF, Action Comics etc.)... and yes, they all have the correct back covers* - fortunately a lot of ebay sellers will photograph the back of vintage comics as well as the cover... sadly not so much the case with 80's+ stuff.

Once I've recovered from putting all these together (though it was a strangely calming experience and bizarrely virtually free of gluey fingerprints!) I'll upload some files so you can print out some mini-comics too.

* correct back pages *where possible*; struggled to find the right ones for The Guild and the Vox Machina comic is digital only but the new Critical Role ad poster seemed an appropriate fit.

Hey guys I´m not dead! I´ve just been working on this wall for some time. This one is located in Innsbruck at the Uni Brücke Underpass!

Might be my biggest one yet!

The reason why I'm uploading this is because, like movies and video games, comics have really become a big staple in my life, so I feel they deserve the same treatment as movies and videogames, getting their own top 20 list! I'll probably update this one annually like I do with movies and videogames, but here's a good look at what my favorite comic storylines are!

1. The Dark Knight Returns

2. To Steal an Ant-Man

3. Aquaman: The Trench

4. Watchmen

5. Ant-Man/Astonishing Ant-Man (2015-2016)

6. Tales to Astonish (#35-#69)

7. Flashpoint

8. Civil War

9. Avengers Vol. 1

10. Aquaman: Rebirth (2016-)

11. Justice League: Origin

12. Power Man and Iron Fist: The Boys are Back in Town

13. Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet

14. The Flash: The Dastardly Death of the Rogues

15. Annihilation: Conquest - StarLord

16. Flash: Rebirth (2016-)

17. Detective Comics (2016-)

18. Batman: Knightfall

19. Justice League: Throne of Atlantis

20. Martian Manhunter (2015-2016)

I bought it in the summer, and it has just been sitting in the pile of books I have in the living room. Tonight was the first time I even looked at it, and it has two of the artists who were at this year's Baltimore Comic-Con.

Flipping through the book I saw what was basically the Grant Morrison JLA with Wally and Kyle rather than the boring duo of Barry and Hal. I only presumed this issue has Wally West, since it has Kyle Rayner in his original costume and Aquaman is in his PAD era outfit. Batman is also wearing the yellow oval Bat Shirt. Yay!

Best of all, there are THOUGHT BALLOONS!

This is a 100 page comic book. I do not recall a 100 page comic book, that is not an original graphic novel, being made in the past 40 years. The only negative is that this book cost $7.99.
