While picking up Nasira, I was intrigued by the 4 rainbow fashionista Ryans in stock. There had only been one wonky one in store before so after looking over the other 3 I chose the best one.
So yes, this is Remi's true love & on-again/off-again boyfriend (currently unnamed). The new face Ryan always was meant to be so but I never had a place to introduce them & their semi complicated dynamic. In any case, relationship status is currently 'on'.
Finally, a group shot with Nasira & the others to close things out. ITW is shorter here because I ended up puting her back in her rainboots for the moment.
I LOVE this seasons Sasha and, lord help me, I'm seriously considering picking up the other two xpress its as body donors. I'd feel worse about taking them from kids but no one seems to be buying her in my area, which is sad because it's the only local store between TRU, Target & WalMart that has this Sasha box. (Also, I heard a rumor that xpress it is the only sasha physically being stocked & the others will only be online stocked. That makes no sense as a policy and yet there aren't any of the other Sashas being spotted in stores so I guess we have to wait & see.....)

While she was cute in the movie, her characterization was slightly flat but her webisode debut 'scare-itage' made me want her. Then Jinkx Monsoon did a 'dios de los muertos' inspired look for this week's episode of 'Rupaul's Drag Race' and the face was almost a perfect match so I NEEDED her. XD
There are a boatload of Skelitas at my local walmart but no sign of Jinafire, who's own webisode debut has made me want her as well. Hrm....

It was a lifelong ambition to visit Sparta. I am in love with the history of Ancient Greece. The ancient ruins are about 400 yards behind the statue beyond the stadium.

So, I've been thinking of doing one of these for forever,
but I have some weird phobia of doing a giveaway and having nobody enter. Is that weird?

I think (for now at least, we'll see how it goes) that I'll be doing twelve prints: two 8x10 and ten 4x6, like the lovely Kira, because I like the way she set up hers.

This is a quick and easy "cheat" version of making chicken tikka masala. Super quick and easy, and the taste is good!
Make Basmati rice as a side dish
For the chicken tikka:
In a bowl shred some meat from a grocery store-bought rotisserie chicken. To taste: add coarsely chopped onion, fresh cilantro, and crushed red pepper flakes. Pour in some tikka sauce from a jar (I like Patak's), stir to mix and microwave until it's heated through to whatever temperature you desire.
That's it! Fast and easy and tastes great! Enjoy.

I think we ALL KNOW how much I adore mermaids. I was only half trekking for her but kept getting Sashas over her & losing out on her at little tykes. Luckily, Target had her in stock as well as for a few bucks off so I ordered & received her 2 or so weeks ago. One of her eyes is a little crack at the side seam but I still really, really love her. Maybe even enough to get another. Hmm......

Quick snap of Rochelle & Ghoulia from the Scaris line, recent acquisitions. After seeing how cute she was with her boyfriend, my personal vendetta against Rochelle disappeared and I had to have this version. She was grabbed maybe a month ago but I never found a spot to upload her. Ghoulia is a week or so old, an impulse buy at a foreign (to me) Walmart. I hadn't gotten her yet because several of the dolls of her I'd seen had smudgy lipstick but the perfect pout on this one made her an instant purchase.
