At 342 meters this is the tallest building outside of Chicago and New York. The Comcast Technology Center is a companion to the 297 meters Comcast Center that is located just meters away. The tower was topped in November of 2017 and, per the tradition, a small statue of Benjamin Franklin was placed on its top to avoid the curse. This curse, which affected the professional sports teams of Philadelphia, was the result of developers building towers that were taller than Ben Franklin's statue on top of City Hall.
For those who don't believe in curses, consider this: shortly after the developers of this tower placed the Franklin statue at the top, the Philadelphia Eagles went on to win the Super Bowl!
