We got Comcast to come and install cable in the rooms that didn't have it at our house. Stoked to finally have cable and not only the HBO and all the other awesome movie channels.

Update: So apparently ComCast vs Time Warner, you are no longer able to have a DVR without digital cable. Thats crap!!!

At 342 meters this is the tallest building outside of Chicago and New York. The Comcast Technology Center is a companion to the 297 meters Comcast Center that is located just meters away. The tower was topped in November of 2017 and, per the tradition, a small statue of Benjamin Franklin was placed on its top to avoid the curse. This curse, which affected the professional sports teams of Philadelphia, was the result of developers building towers that were taller than Ben Franklin's statue on top of City Hall.

For those who don't believe in curses, consider this: shortly after the developers of this tower placed the Franklin statue at the top, the Philadelphia Eagles went on to win the Super Bowl!

Mary, Greg and I met for a Scientist Photographers photostroll in Philadelphia. We must have spent at least a half hour at this fountain in front of the Comcast Center, and were having a great time watching its seemingly random pattern and trying to capture a bit of its magic on camera. We agreed that we were easily amused, and that that was a really good thing.

This is a new wire Comcast ran to my neighbor downstairs all the way down the outside of the building with zero fasteners by tucking it around downspouts and letting it hang. It looks like crap. I've complained to Comcast and I'll take down these pictures when they come and fix this eyesore.

September 2006, I'm looking for something outstanding happening in the streets of Philadelphia for my Photojournalism class.

Here's a sight of Comcast Center construction - the tallest building in Philadelphia now.
