My TiVo was swapped out today. The initial symptom was that the GUIDE was not being populated with data.
It now seems that this is a more widespread problem and the Comcast Guy tells me that they are workign on it.
At the same time, the TiVo Guys want to do an autopsy on my specific unit. So my existing TiVo was removed with all the unwatched shows on it.

Making the Band, Mad Men, That Masterpiece Contemporary show where London turns into a police state, Heroes, Terminator and Monk. I'll be able to catch some of these on Hulu and other on repeat.
The reason we were putting up with this tonight was because my son wanted desperately to see the Alice in Wonderland exceprt in the middle of this show. When that came on finally, he was so disappointed he turned the television off.
why do they do this???? it's sooooo annoying!!!
and why does it take the red soooooooo long to pull up my info when i can get it in a second on the website *and* i've already entered my info to get this far?
but really the horizontal scrolling is the worst offense.
The best thing about the new Comcast TiVo DVR is Search. Finally, a TiVo interface.

Well I had comcast and went to DSL. I hated the speed of the DSL. I need upload speed. My DSL with ATT would only go up to .5mb up now I have a 5mb or more up and a crazy fast download. So happy to be back with Comcast.
