Cambusnethan House (or Priory) in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. Generally regarded as the best remaining example of a James Gillespie Graham designed country house in the quasi-ecclesiastical style of the Gothic Revival completed in 1820.
There is a tenuous link to William Finnemund, the 12th century, Laird of Cambusnethan but the last use of the building was as a hotel and restaurant. Use ceased in 1984 and the building was subsequently subject to vandalism, fire and decay.
A team called "Friends of Cambusnethan Priory" was established in 2014 with the aim of saving the property from further deterioration and someone is there almost every day. This was the best I could manage without a tilt-shift lens.

Loch Ness, taken from the proposed first Rock Ness venue site, an event which did ran successfully for a few years after.

The Gateshead Millennium Bridge on the River Tyne in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
The still air bringing a glassy river surface for some beautiful reflections while I was heading out for a day of photographic work in the city. A colour graded re-edit that I hope you enjoy!

One persons "Freedom Day" is another persons imprisonment. Please spare a thought for the millions of clinically vulnerable and clinically extremely vulnerable people out there on this day. I fear that history will not look back kindly upon the relaxation of all restrictions in England with a raging pandemic of a novel virus. The rest of the world are not looking kindly upon it already. During the photo shoot Sophie's eyes got irritated and teary by the sun. We made use of that by letting her play the sad story of being left by her love. Sophie immersed herself nicely into that role and so we created a few nice "sad Sophie" pictures.

This swing has now doubt been through a number of revisions, however, was always a source of great fun - the peril of swinging out over the canal water with the risk of falling in would have been irresistable.

It almost feels like there is a day for every conceivable thing but 21st June is World Giraffe Day. As a means of awareness for conservation of these absolutely beautiful creatures it is a day that I can happily get behind. So, as a street photographer, do I have a photograph of a giraffe? Yes. Yes I do.
