At South Bank parklands, the Queensland State Library had installed a reading are, full of shaded areas covered with colourful cushions and plenty of reading material. There was also story telling and crafts for children. A wonderful initiative for a hot December Sunday.

I still prefer couch, sofa, divan, chesterfield...whatever...even the comfortable chair is better.
