This Image has been shot originally for a macro mondays theme. If i remember right it was the challenge "sharp and soften". But it never made it. So at the end of the year i usually clean up my harddisk. I stumbeled over this one and in the meantime i thought i add it up to my little world!

Zuerst donnert klein Zaches gegen die Windschutzscheibe, der "verliebte Geck" Balthasar bleibt allein im Wald zurück, spielt Schienensuizid vor, und trifft (auf der nächsten Seite) auf den Professor, den Vater seiner heimlich geliebten Candida, der gerade im Wald scheißt (Querverweis zu Pareidolia Glasscherben), beide gehen mit Probe der Scheiße ins Labor, Balthasar bekommt die Aufgabe ein Poem über die Darmfunktion (wieder Scheiße) und Fortpflanzung von Ratten und Würmern zu schreiben - Verabschiedung - Bootsfahrt zu "O sole mio"....

The postcard is from the Detroit Publishing Company, which had acquired American rights to the Photochrom process, developed in Switzerland, that employed a sequence of several lithographic stones to achieve subtle gradations in color. Since color photography had not yet been invented, all postcard photos were initially black and white shots, and colors, if any, were inserted during the printing phase. Detroit Publishing had the best color process in the U. S., at a time when most postcards were printed in Germany, where printing technology was far advanced.

Probably taken at the start of the fall term in September. The banner over the street advertises the Michigan Daily, the U-M student newspaper. This is a neat old photo, evidently taken after a rain shower, but one wishes it were sharper, and with sunlight on the building fronts. The horses have vanished; the delivery van is motorized. Can anyone identify the make of the open auto in the foreground?

I'm reading "Alle Wasser laufen ins Meer" by Martin Beyer at the moment. It's about Georg Trakl, who writes poems actually and how he's in love with his little sister.

This basically is some notes on my biology class, spiced up with some lyrical lines in the side-column. It was just until I saw the photo that the lines I wrote fitted with the biology part quite well:

While the drawing shows how differents species are being created yb selection and so on, while the lines at the side state "Was dann entstand, gehört's verbrannt [...]" freely translated to "What then arises better be burnt [...]" (in a questioning way).

Part of the outcome of a tryout of stencil spraying and stationery design. I used a heart and the genderterror logo. And silver spray paint for fabrics. Which works very good for paper, also.

Zuerst habe ich nix verstanden, aber dann wurde es klar: Spirale und Perforation an der rechten Seite (Block ist rechts "gebunden")

Anfang der 90er kam die Diddl-Maus auf den Markt - ursprünglich gar keine Maus, sondern ein Känguru. Die Diddl-Maus wurde nie für einen Cartoon, sondern als Aufdruck für Gegenstände designt. Somit erklärt sich, dass es ungefähr ALLES mit dem Diddl-Konterfei in den 90er Jahren gab – keine Tasse oder Collegeblock waren vor der Maus sicher!
