This evenings full moon rising above Wasilla Lake. On my way through town decided to grab a shot on the lake. Darn cold one as near zero, so didn’t take many shots. ZAANDAM - Burgemeester In 't Veld park. Largest city park in the municipality (21 acres) was created in the fifties of the twentieth century. Owes its name to Joris in 't Veld (1895-1981), Mayor of Zaandam from 1937-1948. In the park is also a 2-acre botanical garden.

Cold Spring Creek flows at the base of the majestic Mt Hood in northern Oregon. Following this magical flow upstream leads to Tamanawas Falls and many a fallen rock. I recommend the hike.

Cold temperatures with light frost in the morning have reached East-Westphalia. After my return from a busy week in The Netherlands I used the late afternoon for a small walk around river Werre between Bad Oeynhausen and Löhne.Temperatures were around 10 C and the sunset was crystal clear. Looks like temperatures will drop in the next couple of days, even snowfall is possible middle of next week.
