Aaaaand, the cold process soap fascination continues. So I decided to try using buttermilk in place of water today! Wooooo! And adding some poppy seeds! It's chilling out now...it might change color, so I've got it in the freezer to hopefully slow it down or prevent it from going completely beige or brown...the lye likes to burn the sugars in the milk apparently...

Cake Look-A-Like but it's still bubbly & effective for mild cleansing and for sure it won't irritant!

Selection of natural homemade soaps

These are the soap loaf ends I cut off to make these adorable little gift packs to sell online.

I have slighly changed my wrapping on my soap.

I spent ALL DAY a few Sundays ago wrapping soap. My favorite part is labeling... it makes me feel like I'm in kindergarten again!

Even though it's unscented, it smells like ginger nut biscuits! How homely is that? :)

wrapped in a page from a vintage indoor gardening book i picked up from an antique store!

Well, my swirls did not really turn out so swirly...but I think I know what I did wrong. I still love the rich colors of the soap and think it looks just fine for a first attempt at marbling. I just need to pour the soap into the molds at a thicker trace, then I believe I'll get better swirls. There's always next time, eh? I do like it though :D

This is a new scent for us, it is a wonderful scent much like the drink absinthe.

The next best thing to a vacation in the tropics! This soap is made with real coconut milk, coconut oil, and a yummy pineapple-coconut scent. Mmmm!

Just trying to get a marbled effect on the soap again today...we shall see how this one works out. I used mica for the color and Tangerine Essential oil for fragrance. Fingers crossed I swirled it nicely!

Handmade CP soap with Shea and Dead Sea Mineral Mud. Colored with my own combination of oxides and scented with my personal blend of earthy Essential Oils including patchouli, violet leaf, bergamot, grapefruit, and more.

Soap going through the gel phase on the day all the fats and sodium hydroxide were mixed together

Pandanus hydrosols, extract and vegetable oils in a bar.

Super moist and nice leather. Smooth mystical soap.

Just trying out using one square of unsweetened chocolate for coloring. Also trying two toned without swirling :). Smells really good!
