Homemade CP soap made with goats milk and colloidal oatmeal. Fragranced with "Oatmeal, Milk & Honey" FO from WSP.

I received this soap from Elizabeth at Gassner Custom Soaps as part of a swap I recently participated in.

The soap was made using the same recipe and method as the first batch. However, I added cinnamon as a colorant. I think the result is nice - some of the pieces are marbled, but all of the pieces have a great brown color.

I used a $2 stick blender I got from a thrift shop to help with the stirring. I think that is also the explanation for some the bubbles that can be seen.

I used a shoebox lined with a shopping bag for the mold. The result was firm, but it was easy to cut and held its shape.

DO NOT EAT!!

It's all for your bath :-)

Just trying to get a marbled effect on the soap again today...we shall see how this one works out. I used mica for the color and Tangerine Essential oil for fragrance. Fingers crossed I swirled it nicely!

This is a new recipe I tried with anise essential oil. I embedded some star anise seed pods in the top - they're so beautiful.

Each soap is wrapped in a reusable, handmade cotton bag.

This is what my Chocolate Peppermint soap looks like right after it's poured into the mold. Looks like milk chocolate, doesn't it?

Not exactly what I had in mind... I think the beeswax in this recipe went wonky - the same thing happened with another batch of the same recipe. Maybe I'll call it frownie brownie and sell it for a song. It's lovely, just ugly.

Homemade, vegetarian, cold-process, sculptural soap, hand-finished with soap paint.

This was more to test what the colors would be. So it doesn't smell like the holidays -- so what?!

This soap was like any other soap. We used the same ingredients and formula. However, this soap had no ground Green Tea in it. We have clients who would complain that they loved to have ground tea in it much better. They said that it did an excellent job of scrubbing and made the skin glow because the ground tea exfoliate to reveal natural healthy skin underneath. Therefore, we will make them in the ground green tea again! Photo will comiing soon.

We hope you enjoy your stay!

Some yummy soap is on the curing racks! I will be creating many many more this month. On this rack is a custom B&B guest soap order in Passionfruit. Rosemary Peppermint, Anise Orange, Lavender Orange Patchouli, Lemon Poppy Seed. www.luckyloulou.etsy.com

This is what I was left with after attacking my salt bar log.

This CP soap is curing, and it smells divine! I have to force myself not to bite into it. It has coconut milk in it and smells like that perfect combination of coconut and pineapple! Mmmmm.

Cafe mocha bars. ready to go.

This is a refreshing and exfoliating bar of minty heaven! And it's beautiful. Poppy seeds provide the scrubbing action, and japanese peppermint essential oil makes this a great soap to wake up with in the shower!

Ground tea leaves were mixed into part of the soap; I was hoping that they would colour the swirly bits a bit darker; but they may do that as they cure.

This invigorating bar is great for scalp stimulation and sinus-clearing in the morning, especially when camping.
