This cup is dipped in pure silver. It's also from Byrne's own personal stock (he got something like 25 of the first fifty cups).
Treats from Heathrow
Having a break, while enjoying the upgrade onboard the Shamrock Heathrow to Dublin.
Flights EI178/179 are currently upgraded from the usual A320 to A330 aircraft sometimes, so a nice treat to sample the giant 330 without having to cross the pond to the United States where the 330's usually operate to.
Its a sight to behold at Heathrow prior to departure all the various trucks arriving with the BA world cargo ULD's, stuffed into the belly of the 330, while the passenger deck may be a tad under utilised, the cargo hold is not.
Thanks to the nice crew down back that evening, 17th November 2021, you know who you are.
Macro Monday: Theme - Creamy
I'm a crema snob.
The perfect espresso has the creamiest crema layer on top. Nothing else will do and nothing else compares to the creamy goodness. Mouth is watering just thinking about it.

The Boss with the Boss, plus the obligatory walking around with a coffee, the alfa male no doubt about it.
Getting my first siphon coffee from Houndstooth Coffee in the Frost Tower. The making of the coffee was a great performance and the coffee was delicious.

Sunday morning bicycle ride around Austin, TX.
I'm working on a "Siphon Coffee Master Class" for CoffeeGeek; it's over 10,000 words of siphon knowledge, lore, history and how tos. This is part of the photoshoot.

Another of my late night lattes. 8oz cup, about as big a coffee drink I'll make.
I wanted to do a heart, but got confused midway through, and did a tiny rosetta.
Well it's been like weeks since I poured milk patterns. The top one shows my lack of practice. Started to come back with the second one though.
Nice colours and I like the baseball inspired logo'ing. I think I like even more that the Epic espresso still comes in a 1lb bag (the SOs are 12oz now).
I call it unphotographable because its darned near impossible to get a photo without reflections I'd be freaking out about - the entire surface is made of curves and reflective, polished metal and chrome, and this is probably the best of the bunch. But if you look closely, you can see my lights, reflectors, you name it.
Mind u, I guess most people wouldn't notice the reflections if I didn't point them out.
As a further note, I do have lighttents, lightcubes, etc, and could have shot using those, but then I'd just see seams and all white in the reflections - I like a bit more texture in the reflections. Just not my head or hairy legs, or a cup pushed off to the side of the staging table :)
