Treats from Heathrow

Having a break, while enjoying the upgrade onboard the Shamrock Heathrow to Dublin.

Flights EI178/179 are currently upgraded from the usual A320 to A330 aircraft sometimes, so a nice treat to sample the giant 330 without having to cross the pond to the United States where the 330's usually operate to.

Its a sight to behold at Heathrow prior to departure all the various trucks arriving with the BA world cargo ULD's, stuffed into the belly of the 330, while the passenger deck may be a tad under utilised, the cargo hold is not.

Thanks to the nice crew down back that evening, 17th November 2021, you know who you are.

or close to it.

the shadows are kind of green- does anyone know if that is just the nature of the TZ, or if it is my camera?

{film} Coffee with Kim at Crema, our neighborhood coffee shop. More here.

This image and the one directly under it were overlapping, hence the 35mm feel of this shot. Fortunately, the overlapping didn't happen on the next roll.

Visited CCD twice... during my recent 7 day visit to Kolkata during Durga puja. Must say that early morning and late evenings are the best at coffee shops like CCD since there's no crowd, if you like being 'alone' for some time.

Is tea time for David.

S. and Erika spend a lovely afternoon at a local coffee shop.

Now and then we manage to escape together for an hour while the kids are at school.

So Oliver and Stella made plans to meet up at Moonbean to chat over lattes and get to know each other. I think the date went really well. :)

Taken with Lomo Lubitel while drinking coffee at a cafe across the ocean.

Hubby and I decided to go for a walk to get some exercise and fresh air. However, it started raining, so we changed our plans and went to the local Starbucks for a coffee date instead. A hot cup of coffee was the perfect drink to warm us up after being damp from the rain.

Learn to grow toward

The light that shines so brightly,

Open up your ribs.

Tea and tea lattes today with one with whom I have longed to exchange words. An encouragement, a unique individual with such an entirely different perspective and drive than mine. It is amazing how different two people can be, yet how they can still reach the same end by entirely distinct means.

Admittedly Oliver was too shy to try to sneak a kiss but this is a nice start. :)

duality in obsessions: coffee and time

23 June

What grace have I found:

It's robbed me of the words to

Speak of its wonder.

Today I am reminded of the goodness of God. Rest is good. Coffee dates are good. Sharing lessons learned with others is good. Buying homeless men sandwiches is good. Strawberry smoothies are good. Helping people last-minute without complaint is good. Music is good.

Life is for the living, so live it.

There’s no combination of words

I could put on the back of a postcard

No song that I could sing

But I can try for your heart and our dreams

And they are made out of real things

Like a shoebox of photographs with sepia-tone lovin’

Love is the answer, at least for most of the questions in my heart

Like why are we here? and where do we go? and how come it's so hard?

It’s not always easy and sometimes life can be deceiving

I’ll tell you one thing

It’s always better when we're together

(kokua festival here we come...)

Truckin, like the do-dah man. once told me youve got to play your hand

Sometimes your cards aint worth a dime, if you dont layem down,

Sometimes the lights all shinin on me;

Other times I can barely see.

Lately it occurs to me what a long, strange trip its been.

What in the world ever became of sweet jane?

She lost her sparkle, you know she isnt the same

Livin on reds, vitamin c, and cocaine,

All a friend can say is aint it a shame?
