Miss O'Lait's coffee-cart is a grinding sensation in my little old town! Miss O'Lait will serve you a piping hot frappemochamaccacappapressochino with a whole latte love (*nudge*nudge*)!
Her cart has a coffeemaker, stacks of cups and a display with muffins and donuts.
Greetings. Wishing everyone a happy Sunday evening and a great week ahead. Have fun and take care.
I hope this December will be a time of happness and joy for you.
You can't see it here but there is a sign beyond the coffee cart that says "coffee". The northwest corner of Union Square is the center of the coffee universe - especially if you count Barnes & Noble, McDonald's and the place on 16th St ...

A Paeque El Llano street side mobile coffee cart by Café Viandante.
Coffee is big in Oaxaca de Juárez. Some of the best Mexican coffee beans are grown in the State of Oaxaca.
What was unusual, to me, was the deluxe brewing machine in the cart.
The size of coffee shops in Oaxaca has little to do with having upscale brewing equipment.
Oaxaca has coffee shops hiding in every corner and street and each one has an atmosphere and vibe of its own.
As a coffee-producing state, most of the cafes in town carry and brew with some of the highest quality Arabica beans from the Pluma Hidalgo region.
Pluma Hidalgo coffee Arabica variety, is known for its unique flavour profile and small-scale, sustainable farming practices.
The flavour of Pluma Hidalgo coffee is linked to the region's volcanic soil and geography.
The volcanic soils are rich in minerals and nutrients, providing the coffee plants with the essential elements needed for optimal growth and flavour.
The beans are grown at elevations ranging from 900 to 1,500 meters above sea level.
Oops, TMI.
On my way from the JEATH war museum to the bridge on the river Kwai in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, I decided it was time for a coffee, and I had one at this stand manned by this positively charming Thai Moslem lady. It's rather unusual to see Thais wearing head scarves- you tend to associate hear scarf wearing SE Asian ladies with Malaysia, Indonesia or Brunei. Most of the Islamic Thais are in the South of Thailand, near a place called Yala. Due to militancy which rears it's ugly head off and on, most tourists to Thailand do not venture far too deep south, limiting themselves to say Phuket or other popular places in the south. The coffee this lovely lady served me was typically Malaysian style: sweet, creamy and with plenty of sweet condensed milk. In fact, she is wearing an apron with the name Carnation boldly displayed on it- Carnation is a very popular brand of condensed milk in SE Asia. Indeed, Thailand is truly the land of smiles, and the kind lady was only happy to oblige when I asked to photograph her! I am in Kanchanaburi to check out the horrors pertaining to construction of the Death Railway by the Japanese between Thailand and Burma under inhuman conditions which led to thousands of deaths due to disease, accident, malnourishment or ill treatment. Detailed notes about the Death Railway appear throughout this album. (see subsequent and previous pictures). (Kanchanaburi, Thailand, Oct. 2008)
Delightful lady at the Chico farmer's market prepares coffee and cocoa all from a single tricycle cart built by her husband.
She plops your cup into one of the slots and pours the water heated on the built-in stove into a filter labeled by a celebrity's photograph.
"Your mocha's ready under John Wayne, hunny."
"Your husband build this!?"
"Fortunately, I've got a man who does a lot of things right ... Don't tell him I said that."
