HMV welcomed 4-piece Dublin band C O D E S to its Dundrum store today (20/09/09) where the performed live and signed copies of their highly anticipated debut album TreesDreamInAlgebra. Following the success of debut single ThisIsGoodbye the alternative quartet has upped the ante with their latest offering.
The release of their latest single YouAreHere is representative of their unorthodox sound offering something truly different while simultaneously hitting the right note for widespread airplay. TreesDreamInAlgebra characterises the essence of C O D E S; it offers soaring vocal harmonies, dreamy arrangements combined with memorable electronic beats.
Credited for steely and lively performances fans of C O D E S will also get to see the band live as they embark on a nationwide tour to promote the album. Following a support stint with Keane earlier this year a more experienced and edgy performance will no doubt be on the cards.
