All because I found out you can put images into a QR code, I had to do it, and since I'm only using it in BrickFair why not its logo, lol
not the best looking 9.9 metre alx400 but after an hour of cutting and sanding and filing, she is built and waiting for paint and some final adjustments.
Jaina Lefevre just filters out everything else and hugs her knees, focusing hard on what's going on below. "Please..mom...please. Take him down...come on..."
Jonathon Coage slowly walks up, a tired and angered gleam in his eye as he walks with the swagger of well trained and all buisness soldier about to rip a mans arm off and beat him to death with it. The stubble on his face is evidence of the rough days behind him, and the sight before him lets his tired mind know they're not over yet. He gives a slight nod to simon before taking his place next to Esha, his cold blue eyes silently following the action of his commander.
Kimani Silvercloud skitters down toward Jaina when Leigh moves off, rocks rolling down the Hil she comes to a stop next to Jaina and reaches for her hand, wanting to hold it tight
Esha Rajal dropped the spent cigarette on the ground and stomped it out with her boot. She pointed down the hill and replied to Ember, "Major's taking a beating from some UAC guy." She wrapped one arm behind Jon to give him a little squeeze at his arrival, but otherwise kept her eyes focused on the action below.
Deets Carroll keeps her shotgun trained on the UAC freak, although her attention is largely on the fight. Her knuckles are white.
Roaman Enzo hearing Esha turns around and gives a look. "That's enough Ms Rajal"
Ember Ronas looks where Esha points and falls silent for the time being. Her friend was smoking, that means now was not the time to try and be cute about matters. Of course, silence never lasted long with Ember and after a few moments in her own head she leaned over and muttered, "Anything I can do?"
Jaina Lefevre doesn't even notice the reach, but she squeezes Kimi's hand and keeps watching. "Mom said he was just using me to get to her." she says to Kimi. "They were setting her up. Well, now she's gonna take him down."
Kimani Silvercloud gives a quick reassuring sqeeze back, her eyes dark with worry "Yeah, dont worry, he's gonna go down"

We code and decode information all the time -- it's part of the process of living.
Coding -- or encoding -- is the process of making a concept or idea understandable to others. It could be an email, a scrawl, a napkin sketch or a sign.
Decoding is the process of interpreting information that was coded by someone else. How many things do you think you encode or decode in a given day? How well do you code information?
Can you interpret all the codes you see above? If you can you might want to take a try at the codes in this Flickr photo set.

Code, the male common eland, likes to lift logs and driftwood with his horns. He was too close to the fence for me to get more of him in the frame, but I like this close-up of his face.

This logo looks nice, and it is meant to link to many properties of the CODE ROOD movement. The spiralling shape refers to weather and climate, but also to the large changes that our society needs to make. The lines coming together refer to the movement of many people we are building. And of many types of people. The spiral also shows that we hope to be dynamic, active, creative, and open to new ideas and people.
The Code of Hammurabi is a well-preserved Babylonian law code, dating back to about 1772 BC. It is one of the oldest deciphered writings of significant length in the world. The sixth Babylonian king, Hammurabi, enacted the code, and partial copies exist on a human-sized stone stele and various clay tablets. The Code consists of 282 laws, with scaled punishments, adjusting "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" (lex talionis)[1] as graded depending on social status, of slave versus free man.[2]
Nearly one-half of the Code deals with matters of contract, establishing for example the wages to be paid to an ox driver or a surgeon. Other provisions set the terms of a transaction, establishing the liability of a builder for a house that collapses, for example, or property that is damaged while left in the care of another. A third of the code addresses issues concerning household and family relationships such as inheritance, divorce, paternity and sexual behavior. Only one provision appears to impose obligations on an official; this provision establishes that a judge who reaches an incorrect decision is to be fined and removed from the bench permanently.[3] A handful of provisions address issues related to military service.
One nearly complete example of the Code survives today, on a diorite stele in the shape of a huge index finger,[4] 2.25 m or 7.4 ft tall (see images at right). The Code is inscribed in the Akkadian language, using cuneiform script carved into the stele. It is currently on display in The Louvre, with exact replicas in the Oriental Institute in the University of Chicago and the Pergamon Museum of Berlin.
Code Pink social justice activists crank it up across the street from the St. Regis Hotel where President Obama was meeting with wealthy political donors. Issues raised by the demonstrators at this action included the XL Keystone pipeline, preferential access to the political process by the wealthy and drone warfare. A hand-made visualization was done to connect 2385 paragraphs of the German Civil Code by 1896. Every paragraph contains a number of references to other paragraphs. In the physical visualization each reference was visualized through red threads.

The Fall 2010 Student Hackathon brought in hundreds of students from 30 universities to NYU's Courant Institute for 24 hours of creative hacking on New York City startups' APIs.
Selected startups presented their technologies at the beginning of the event, and students formed groups to brainstorm and begin coding on their ideas. Many students worked into the night, foregoing sleep to fulfill their visions.
On Sunday afternoon students presented their projects to an audience including a judging panel, which selected the final winners.
hackNY hosts hackathons one each semester, as well as a Summer Fellows Program, which pairs quantitative and computational students with startups which can demonstrate a strong mentoring environment, a problem for a student to work on, a person to mentor them, and a place for them to work. Startups selected to host a student are expected to compensate student Fellows. Students enjoy free housing together and a pedagogical lecture series to introduce them to the ins and outs of joining and founding a startup.
