I know people say that Door County is like the Cape Cod of the Midwest, but I still don't think that's why this motel in Egg Harbor is called the Cape Cod Motel.
I went out hoping for a repeat of last night's sunset - of which I saw only parts and from a chair indoors - and possibly a moonrise. I saw neither, but did get this ....

My plan was to catch some cod using soft lure tactics and working my way through the layers I managed to get this beast of a fish .This season has been hard on the water and good size fish have been few and far between ,but the weather has been exceptional with calm sea and hot sunshine .Simply I love Fishing ,Sorry ,,Catching
The fish that changed history. The Atlantic Cod is in part responsible for the discovery and exploration of North America and had a tremendous impact on economic development of New England and eastern Canada.
