This was taken on an afternoon trip to Cod Beck Reservoir, just outside Osmotherley. A lovely way to spend a quiet evening, on one of the first warm days of the year.
A night shot from the Cod Beck reservior. I visited with the intention of getting some star trails, but the overhanging cloud did not shift !
Tribute to the Man of the Sea statue, located at Ílhavo, depicting the man on his endeavour of cod fishing on the North Sea, while his wife and children stands behind waiting for his return...

This is the Cape Cod Canal a channel of only several hundred feet in width which separates the Island from the mainland. As minor as it might seem by today's standards it stalled the development of the island letting it keep it's rustic nature until two road and one rail bridges were built close in time during the early 20th century.
These fish are approx. 1m (3ft) long. Taken at an aquarium in Alesund, Norway.

A backlit Cod Rock on the the Bicheno foreshore, Tasmania. The trees on Redbill Point behind the rock.
Big swell making on the beaches behind the point and a lot of sea spray/mist in the atmosphere right on sundown/late golden hour.
