A short walk on a foggy, frosty, cold morning at Zouch in Nottinghamshire.

Cobwebs on a dull, damp day.

There were lots and lots of these little cobwebs in the grass on a clearing. Quite hard to find ones that even my little P&S could get underneath - but I liked the view.

I saw two webs on either side of some railing and thought it might make a nice effect to shoot through one to the one in the background.

Copper beech hedges are very good for cobwebs :-)

The design in these windows look like Comper to me, but this signature is not his strawberry. Thanks to Gordon Plumb for pointing out that this is the canting device used by G. F. Webb, an associate of Comper's.

  

Silver-plated prototype for sterling silver pendant. Done in a hurry - the wirework's a bit rubbish, but it still turned out the way I was hoping!

I popped out to the shops this afternoon but I've used my car very little for the past three months. I noticed that I had a cobweb on my wing mirror.
