Here are all the Final images from the Cobalt Husky photo set! I had such an amazing time shooting the awesome Cobalt.

Home of a nice shore dive, and start of some lovely boat dives, using the boat pictured. Divetech is a great dive operation!

Oldschool Dude remember his tags from waaaay back. Cool to see he's still getting down..

Here's a front shot of Cobalt. It's a bit hard to make out his detailing due to his narrow head, but I feel his expression translates well even though it's hard to see his face. His jaws are a bit flatter than some of the other dragon types I've done, but I'm satisfied with the black fangs. I tried to play off the color contrasts with his counterpart.

Oil on canvas

In this picture of the mining town of Cobalt, Ontario, Housser eliminates all fine details, simplifying and elongating the forms of the buildings and focusing on the use of primary colours. While this formerly bustling industrial town is depicted in its dwindling years, much of its spirit and energy is still evident.

Tala is rather aggressively posessive of her yard and her people -- Cobalt found it overwhelming.

Cobalt plays with her favourite toy, the blue sheep. We had to retire the pink sheep, it was getting too worn.

Taken at the "graduation" from Cobalt's puppy pre-school obedience course.

Jazz and Bean, the black tri-colours, are sisters from different litters and are almost indistinguishable -- I'm sure some of the photos here have their names reversed.

This is a photo of the cobalt phosphate after two hours of drying time. Macro was used to capture the cracks that are left as the water dries. Notice how the representative piece in the middle is the sharpest and draws your eye to the edge, where the thickness is clearly illustrated. Only overhead light was used here, bringing some interesting shadows into the shot.
