Kicked of our 2020 Fall Workshop with some light painting.

On Friday Night, I spent time on the shore in Split Rock State Park. My main purpose was to photograph the Milky Way, but I also spent time shooting in the opposite direction.

This shot combined some light painting along with some astro-photography.

Alabama Hills at Night

Last weekend, I spent time in Lone Pine, CA with my son after working out in Las Vegas all week. On Saturday night we went out to Alabama Hills to do some night photography and light painting.

Spent some time last night scouting a location for an upcoming Light Painting Class. Here is one of the photos from the scouting trip.

Light Painting out on Lake Superior. There used to be a land bridge that connected the sentinel to the large rock on the right. Several years ago the land bridge collapsed.
