I recently visited Toronto on a business trip. Unfortunately, did not have a lot of time to take nice photos. However, just felt that I wanted to post at least one photo. Here it is. I went right to the top and the view was awesome! As can be seen from the information below, it is no longer the tallest building in the world. I guess I will now have to organise a business trip to Dubai!
The CN Tower, located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a communications and tourist tower standing 553.33 metres (1,815 ft) tall. It surpassed the height of the Ostankino Tower while still under construction in 1975, becoming the tallest free-standing structure on land in the world. On September 12, 2007, after holding the record for 32 years, the CN tower was surpassed in height by the still-under-construction Burj Dubai. It remains the signature icon of Toronto, attracting more than two million international visitors annually.

See my very best photos in album:
Toronto's Tom Thomson Park is man-made using tons of construction debris. A long piece of iron rebar allows a stack of weathered bricks to defy gravity on the beach. The CN Tower is visible in the background.
A quite an interesting experience, managing to snag an old cab GO leading only 5 minutes after arriving at this location on the USRC. The location is pretty stellar and definitely a surprise seeing an old cab leading out of union!

I've gotten a few messages about using this image for promotions or whatnot. Basically send me a flickr message about what you plan to use it for - but if it's for promotions that are non-commercial, school work, presentations etc. Feel free, just let me know where you used it, I find it really interesting and pretty fascinating that people would take my photos and put them anywhere.
If you want to use it for some commercial purpose, make sure you contact me first though, otherwise I'd be fairly upset :)
um..... if you go to toronto without taking atleast one shot of the cn tower. you're completely silly. hahaha. as many times as i've seen this, it still amazes me. if you're in ontario.. you really gotta go to toronto and up this. so sick.
You can really tell who runs this amazing airport! Taken from the window of a Cessna 150 after landing in Toronto. Great airline, but maybe even a better background!
