CMF Vignette built for day 4 of Vignweek2022

that propably made them the

City Most Favorites ! haha

check it out in all sizes

I know a couple of these have been done already, but of course I wanted to make them myself! Each Superman uses some parts from the new Marvel CMFs.

Left to right:

Bizarro Superman

Cyborg Superman

New 52 Superman

Black Suit Superman

Man of Steel Superman

Two foes for Wonder Woman: Solo of Neptunia, a very nuanced and memorable antagonist

and poor Horace Throstle the Paper-Man, who became smitten with the Amazon ever since she inspired him to stick up for himself.

More JSA guys to go along with Stargirl: A classic, colorful Sandman!

and the best I could come up with for Geomancer.

And to oppose Simon Baz, I now have Goldface

and a kind-of sort-of Icicle; credit goes to the fellows in Detective Comics Unlimited for the uses of that new head.

Inspired by the new kendo instructor figure and the new Thor torso, I decided to revisit some of the Japanese-themed CMFs from various series.

Left to right:

Kimono Girl (Series 4)

Kendo Fighter (Series 15)

Sumo Wrestler (Series 3)

Samurai (Series 13)

Ninja (Series 1)

Merchant

Trade is the lifeblood of Kaliphlin, and the merchants are the true masters of the southern realm.

Barqan astrologer

The city of Barqa is a center of glass making in Historica, and subsequently its stargazers have access to some of the best telescopes in the known world. Many celestial objects have been discovered and named by these scholars, and even more has been written about the supposed influence on the events of Historica by these heavenly denizens.

Khel'Zarim battlemage

Warden of the eternal flames burning in castle Zar, high up in the Rakath mountains. What she doesn’t know about fire is probably not worth knowing.

Petraean swordsman

A soldier loyal to the Kaliphlin High Council. As important as the trade itself are the guardians of the trade routes.

The ones which I bought from the Lego store... together with the extra parts. Seems like each minifig has an extra part which is neat...

cosmicbrickcustoms on Instagram is holding a contest about making five figures for a potential 2022 CMF in any LEGO theme, past or present. And I thought, what better theme to revisit than Fabuland? Here's what passes for Fabuland figures at minifig scale:

Left to right:

Percy Pig with his wheelbarrow

Freddy Fox with her farmer's hat and apple

Perry Panda with his broom and flower

Bertie Bulldog with her camera and police cap

Barney Bear with their wrench and toolbox

After finally obtaining the DC CMF’s yesterday, I made some figs/combos/upgrades using the parts.

Bottom row, L-R:

Peggy Carter Captain America: Stargirl’s torso works like a charm

Shuri: Bumblebee’s hairpiece

Hawkeye: Huntress arm and legs. Seen people use these parts before, but damn does he look slick!

Sig Fig: Yet again. Put back on the original arms, and added e-tape shoes, Joey’s slice of pizza from the Central Perk set, and the Detective Comics No.27 tile

Superman: Just the official CMF, but with Doctor Strange’s hairpiece and Rex Dangervests arms

Kingpin: Basically stolen from Jonathan, uses Joker’s body

Nightwing: Yeah I don’t have the official fig yet lol. Sinestro’s arms and legs

Top row, L-R:

Livewire: Huntresses torso works too well! She also has dual molded legs, but it’s kind of hard to tell.

Sinestro: Gave him the Wonder Twins hairpiece, but with the ears filled in pink

Falcon: Just wanted to try Cyborg’s arms on him

Aquaman: Last years fig with the new Aquaman legs

Bumblebee: Official CMF, with Shuri’s hair and Black Vulcans legs

And that’s a wrap! Let me know what you guys think of these figs, and leave your suggestions for more I could make down in the comments below :)

Plastique: Robot Warrior legs

Robin: Carrot Mascot legs

Copperhead: T-Rex Costume Fan arms/torso/legs

Just a couple Marvel remakes with parts from the newest CMF series. Enjoy!

Werewolf Cap, Annihilus, and The Thing

A quick final reminder, that in partnership with LEGO, I have a Series 18 CMF prize pack to giveaway. It's happening over on Instagram and all you have to do is make "Minifigure Party Photo" featuring minifigs Celebrating the 40th Birthday of the Minifig. You've got till the 21st, which is monday, but as long as it's the 21st somewhere in the world you can still enter, so it's not to late yet. So take a shot, tag it #Series18 , tag me (Frostbricks) as well, and you could win.

Elven ranger

Only seen when they want to be noticed, the elven rangers are keeping intruders and the more sinister beings of the forests in check.

Antyrian Guardsman

A true Avalonian warrior. Fierce in combat, loves to hug his town’s hallowed trees and probably wears tights under his chainmail.

Satyr axeman

The satyrs are usually a jovial and peaceful folk, who prefer a good evening of dance to the tune of flutes and drums under ancient trees in the forests of Avalonia to adventure or violence. However, don’t underestimate them when they, however reluctantly, have applied war paint on their faces...

Adventurer

The ancient caves of the island of Varlyrio hide many secrets and riches, and many young noblemen set out to discover these.

Rego palace guard

Guarding one of the palaces of the Rego is probably the most honorable duty for a Varlyrian soldier. A peculiar property of Varlyrian armor is that it is usually thicker in the back.

Illyrian lawyer

This counselor knows all the paragraphs, precedent and loopholes of Varlyrian law and can for a suitable sum of gold twist it to any outcome for his client.

Some of the recent minifigs which I purchased from Shopee and BL... I had the Shower guy before but gave him away. So here he is again. I can't remember if I had the Where are my pants guy before but I think it's a neat addition to any city or town folk. He will be wearing pants of course... XD

Surprisingly the pizza costume guy is kinda cute. Wasn't interested in these costumes at first but when I got him, the pizza mould is quite nice. Now it seems that I have to build a pizza place for him... :D Here we go again!

Algus warrior

Far north of any lands habitable to warm-blooded beings, these frigid creatures thrive. From time to time packs of Algus venture south, causing havoc to the lands of Historica. Last time however, they were thwarted by the searing flames produced by burning black oil from Kaliphlin.

Husfrue

This lady is the wife of a minor Mitgardian jarl. While her husband might be in charge of the jarldom, she is definitely the one in charge of the household. The keys to the longhouse are hers, and whenever the men are off to war the thralls of the estate know better than to be lazy…

Minotaur geologist

The mountains of Mitgardia are hiding many veins of valuable minerals, but only the most hardy geologists can endure to search for them. Be sure however that whenever a rich vein is discovered, dwarven miners are swift to start digging there...if they haven’t already done so from below.

And to those who have shared their snaps so far, beautiful work. All of you. I'm loving the amazing shots you guys have come up with.

A Black Falcons Collectible Minifig Series.

Top Row

Bladesman Heavy Infantry

Deployed in small skirmishing units these skilled axemen target high value heavily armored elite enemies. They receive special training to neutralise Cavalry with matador like expertise.

Sentinel

Royal guardsman armoured in ceremonial gear their heavy shields and Long Halberds make them slow but enduring fighters.

Half Ogre Ramhead

Unlike their larger dumber ogryn cousins, the Half ogre shows a fair amount of cunning and can remember even detailed tactical orders. their strength and size see them fight in the Vanguard.

BannerMan

Only the bravest and strongest fighters are offered the chance to carry the heraldry of the Falcon legion. Heavily armoured the Bannerman will fight til his last breath to keep the colours safe at the very front of the Vanguard.

Row 2

Deathshead Archer

Not averse to using poison to incapacitate their enemies even a knick from one arrow can be fatal! Deployed as scouts these eagle eyed infantry are a boon to the falcon legion.

Chaplain

The Wisest head in the Falcons army, with tales of battles long forgotten by most, the Chaplain can offer insight across many battlefields. His mace is also used to administer the last rites to those who won't make it back to the field hospital.

Headsman

The Executioner keeps the troops in check acting as unofficial enforcer for the falcons upper echelons. He can take a head with a single deft strike, or if he is told otherwise can make it messy and drawn out...

Quarter Master

This grizzled veteran keeps the army equipped and moving. With enough time, he can acquire you anything from a powdered unicorn horn to 10 minutes you won't forget with a saucy wench. Rum is his favourite currency!

Row 3

Bladed Fury

A lethal combination of enthusiasm and martial prowess beware the whirling web of death! trained from infancy these unpredictable weapon masters are a real wildcard in the Falcons pack.

Tribal Bezerk - From the Skylands mountain pass. The most savage of the bezerks eschew armour in favour of agility. Calling on the power of the wild they froth at the mouth and literally go Berserk!

Bucaneer

These flamboyant characters are expert florentine fighters who love the cut and thrust of combat. Often the buccaneer is a successful retired pirate who has made his fortune and is looking to transition into the nobility by proving his worth on the battlefield.

Herald

These artisans can be found across the battlefields although most consider them blowhards they are not averse to sticking the knife in when an opponent is not looking.

Bottom Row

Lester the Jester

his repertoire is mainly limited to fart jokes but his sense of humour is generally as cruel as the knife he wields in combat.

The Duchess

Plucked from the Mountain tribes the duchess is Lady to Erasmus the black, an expert with blades and poisons, not just a pretty face. Many a man has underestimated her and paid the ultimate price.

Paladin Duke Erasmus the Black

The present Falcons Master General. He is a fearsome soldier and expert fighter - he fights without mercy! heavily armoured his sword carries a blessed purity seal which deals extra damage to chaotic or evil creatures.

Brody the Squire

He carries his spare weapons and maintains the Dukes armour and equipment. Although not a proficient swordsman he is lethal with "Old Faithful" which is Erasmus trusty Mace.

brickpics216 ( flickr / Instagram ) is holding a Marvel CMF contest where you make three custom minifig designs of characters you'd like to see in the rumored upcoming CMF series.

Obviously, I didn't stop at three. I made a whole sixteen minifig series. Plus some rejects.

I don't know Marvel super well, so I got most of my character ideas from looking up obscure and weird characters from the comics, so please don't ask me who any of these people are. I mostly just picked them because they looked cool and were doable in LEGO lol.

I'm only going to post the main pic here, so that means unfortunately you won't be able to see the rejects in this pic, but you can check them out in the smaller group photos on imgur or Instagram.

Row 1: Doctor Bong, 3-D Man, Uatu the Watcher, and Shiklah

Row 2: Hercules, Moonstar, Madcap, and Moondragon

Row 3: Dreadknight, Namorita, The Orb, and American Eagle

Row 4: Spectrum, Annihilus, Cardiac, and Jack O'Lantern

Reject not pictured here: Master of the World, Baron Blood, The Controller, Blink, and Speed Demon

As another note, since these are supposed to be new CMF designs and those do usually come with new parts, I did do a liberal amount of editing. I edited: Hercules' scarf from lime green, Annihilus' wings from dark tan, Madcap's torso (CMF jester), Spectrum's head and torso slightly (Storm/Spider-Gwen), Dreadknight's legs (Woody's), Jack O'Lantern's legs (LBM Green Arrow), and Blink's hair from dark orange. So there you go.

So I picked up two packs of the LEGO marvel cmf and got two figs one of which is Sam Wilson cap and the other u will see in a later post anyways decided I would use these parts to make some figs

L-R: hammerhead( wanted to do blade but I couldn’t find a good head for him), random Steve Rogers custom, Arkham knight( more of a black look), Bucky cap

Top: dead shot( not rlly sure how well the head works but I thought it would work Bc of the white elements on the face representing a white mask that he wears with the red goggles obviously representing the cybernetic eyes)

Well for the past couple days I was kinda struggling to make a full 16 figure marvel cmf Bc I couldn’t find any interesting figures to make and I wasn’t able to upgrade the current marvel figs LEGO has made so I just made a small figbarf showing u the figs( not all of them) I was gonna include in the cmf. So we have....

L-R: Comic book black panther( my interpretation), classic Dormammu, kang( I rlly wish I had hydro man head rn:( ), classic nick fury( custom eye patch design cause I don't own any faces with one lmao), underground goon

Top: cyclops, iron patriot, squirrel girl

Lmk ur thoughts and next week im gonna start posting mocs

*now including the Chiss Ascendancy

Ready for some action? ;)

At long last I was lucky to get to a shop with a whole box of the current series. These are the figures that sparked my interest

Built alongside this.

Hello this time im back with part 2 of using the cmf parts and this time im using wanda's and a fig I thought of using falcons legs

L-R: shang chi in a kicking pose( utilized wanda's legs for this),magneto( tryna get better overall parts for him but I rlly like the torso), ragdoll( honestly used wandas hair for the sake of using her hair on a fig the overall design was inspired by snowy bricks), tali al ghul( ive done a couple elektra's not enough talia so here ye go using wanda's arms)

Top: blue suit vulture( liked the strapped detailing on falcon's legs and ye), supergirl( pretty basic)

Fortunately shops are allowed to open up again this week, and nobody did mind me touching all the bags.

Sadly I only got two vikings so far and to my utter dismay the nunchakus are one piece. So sadly no game changing 2L bar piece here. Still useful though.

Built alongside this.

Werewolf bounty hunter

You would not want to be on this lycanthrope’s hit list...

Cyclops matriarch

The cyclops tribes of Nocturnus often have strong female leaders. The matriarch is skilled in making various concoctions, to heal friends or poison foes, as well as herself pick up a weapon to fight neighboring tribes or intruding Avalonian adventurers.

Herbalist

Many exotic plants thrive in the Moruth Swamplands, and some even dare to harvest them. When harvesting the seeds of some of the more rare carnivorous plants, the herbalist does best to imitate being a plant himself to not be the one harvested for nutrition.
