Cluj is my city. The place where I was born and where I want to live forever. Cluj-Napoca is the most beautiful city in Romania, from all points of view.
The Romanian Railways (C.F.R.- Căile Ferate Române) 1,230hp class 80 Bo-Bo diesel-hydraulic locos were built by FAUR in Bucharest and 622 locos were delivered between 1966 and 1985. They were equipped with steam heating for suburban and local passenger duties. Cluj-Napoca station pilot on 9th October 2016 was 80-0537-3 and is seen taking empty coaching stock from the station to the carriage sidings.
