A space invader with a wink to the Michelin factories in Clermont-Ferrand. This Bibenvader Michelin was among some other space invaders in Clermont-Ferrand victim of vandalism executed by paintball. Impossible to wipe it away with PaintShop but this one has been cleaned again a week after my visit.

Moraga discusses basic nutritional facts during a subject matter exchange seminar Sept. 25 during a cooperative health engagement at Bigaa Elementary School, Legazpi City, Albay, Republic of the Philippines part of Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014. William Pendleton Thompson Hill Memorial Awards at the Combat Logistics Regiment 37 field mess hall on Camp Kinser. "Food is a very important aspect to the military, and I don't think a lot of people understand that," said Jay Silverstein, a W.P.T. Hill Awards judge with the National Restaurant Association. "I believe that if you can get five minutes of sustenance and something warm in your belly, it may remind you of home. It may not be made the same way but it still reminds you, and that's what is important." The awards annually recognize the accomplishments of Marine Corps food service workers and facilities. More than 200 Marines from CLR-3, CLR-35, CLR-37, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, and 3rd Medical Battalion, embarked the Tortuga to depart for Thailand to provide flood recovery assistance to the Government of Thailand.
