Well it was when it was built... St. Pancras Station trainshed, opened 1868.
This view now gone. It shows the the north gable prior to it being re-glazed during modernization for international trains in 2004-07.
Not sure why but it looked like the closest two platform were out of use.. dunno why, nothing was apparent. Bit of a rusty diamond. In the background I think the crane was working above the new construction of the British Library.
HST set headed by 43059 in Intercity Swallow, departs the station at about 13:40 somewhere north I guess.
Taken with my Canon T90 and brand new Sigma wide angle zoom.

On the corner of Garrick St and New Row, Covent Garden, London. Still there too..
The Round House
In 1860 Garrick Street was opened to improve access to Covent Garden Market and the theatres. Garrick Street became so popular that this public house was opened in 1868 as the "Petters Hotel" and for the next 75 years became a famous watering hole for visitors to the theatre and market tradesmen alike. In 1943 the "Petters Hotel" was renamed The Round House to compliment the unmistakable shape of the building! Apart from the name change, little has altered...
...it says on the wall outside.

THE INVASION OF CLERMONT-FERRAND
The first (two?) invasion wave(s) of the center of Clermont-Ferrand occured in the year 2000 and consisted 8 space invaders, 4 of them are still there (including 1 re-activation) and flashable.
In January 2016 Clermont-Ferrand was invaded again, the 3rd invasion wave took place:
"At the occasion of the screening of the very last version of the movie Art4Sspace at the Interntional Short Film Festival of Clermont-Ferrand, I have added 31 new creations to the city of the center of France. Among various themes, they refer to movies and cinema but also to what Clermont Ferrand is famous for : its gothic cathedrale, its volcanos, its Michelin factories and its Serge Gainsbourg street" (Invader)
A view that has gone.
