Bahnsinnige Grüße aus Leipzig - mit dem ersten "U-Boot"-Bild! :)
Ist es denn zu glauben...?! Alleine für dieses Bild hat sich die Reise nach Leipzig doch schon gelohnt. Mit 229 147 fuhr mir heute das erste "U-Boot" vor die Linse. Den Spitznamen hat diese (ehemals aus Rumänien importierte) Großdiesellok natürlich auf Grund ihres markanten Aussehens.
Die hier gezeigte 229 147 (Baujahr 1983) wurde ehemals als 119 147 bei der Deutschen Reichsbahn DR in Dienst gestellt und im Jahr 1992 umgebaut. Im Zuge des Umbaus wurde die Lok remotorisiert (MTU 12V 396 TE14) und für eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 140km/h ausgerüstet. Nach dem Umbau wurde die Lok dann in ihre heutige Loknummer 229 147 umgezeichnet. Nach der Ausmusterung bei der Deutschen Bahn im Jahr 1999 wurde sie zunächst bei DB Bahnbau und DB Netz eingesetzt, bevor sie dann 2015 an die Cargo Logistik Rail Service GmbH (CLR) mit Sitz in Barleben überging. Woher die Lok heute kam und wohin sie wollte ist nicht überliefert...
Soweit zum absoluten Highlight des Tages - morgen gibt es Impressionen von der Dieselsonderfahrt von Leipzig nach Berlin mit 132 109. :)
A propos: Muss ich hier in Leipzig jetzt nicht bald schon Zweitwohnsitzsteuer zahlen? ;)

A black and white runner with blue eyes South of the center of Clermont-Ferrand. This invader was among some other space invaders in Clermont-Ferrand victim of vandalism executed by paintball. The zoom in version has been cleaned by PhotoShop!

THE INVASION OF CLERMONT-FERRAND
The first (two?) invasion wave(s) of the center of Clermont-Ferrand occured in the year 2000 and consisted 8 space invaders, 4 of them are still there (including 1 re-activation) and flashable.
In January 2016 Clermont-Ferrand was invaded again, the 3rd invasion wave took place:
"At the occasion of the screening of the very last version of the movie Art4Sspace at the Interntional Short Film Festival of Clermont-Ferrand, I have added 31 new creations to the city of the center of France. Among various themes, they refer to movies and cinema but also to what Clermont Ferrand is famous for : its gothic cathedrale, its volcanos, its Michelin factories and its Serge Gainsbourg street" (Invader)
