Some old pieces of a Chinese table that I rescued. I repaired the wooden parts and replaced the table surface with a steel sheet which is brushed in different directions so that it looks like a cloudy sky.
The view of the cloudy sky in Isalo National Park, Madagascar, only a few minutes before totality.
The clouds were moving out of the way so we stayed where we were for the eclipse. This was a lucky decision.
I took this photo a few minutes ago, but it's been cloudy since this morning. We had a bit of sunshine, but the next few days have been forecast to be sunny. I can't wait.
This was taken from a terrace in Astoria. This view of Manhattan is just a small portion of what I see. Most of my view is Astoria and some Long Island City.
I used Topaz Adjust, a Photoshop plugin for most of the effects.

After driving all over the place today I decided to conclude my trip by taking another shot of this red barn near my house. I"m still dissatisfied, it looks too much like I shot it from the passenger's seat of a moving car. I actually parked myself in front of it and used my friend Jairo's telephoto lens he kindly let me borrow :)
+ Today:
1. Job Interview #3 seemed to go well. I wrote a thank you email where I try to sell myself a little more, hopefully IT WORKS
2. I visited my colleagues at Arte Público Press and their new office.
3. I had yummy lunch with my friend Katy
4. I got $27 for some of my used clothes. Still have the rest in the trunk.
5. I bought a gray card! (for $7:( lol)
I love how this photo turned out. The diffuse midday light made everything look somber yet evenly-lit.
