Facing east from the vicinity of Moran, Wyoming. My best guess for this is Mt. Randolph, in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
Actually it's Der Rosengarten or The Rose Garden, a rock massif in the Dolomites in Northern Italy.
This was taken near Bolzano where we had seen Otzi the Iceman, the oldest glacial mummy in the world, in the South Tyrol Museum of Archeology. Otzi is 5,300 years old so he's even older than me!

I went for a walk on Christmas day. It was mostly cloudy, but there were a few breaks in the clouds. I like the way the clouds established layers in this shot with the tree silhouettes in the foreground, patchy clouds in front of shaded hills, a portion of the Cascade range spotlighted with the sun, and a partially cloud obscured Mount Baker looming in the background. Decided to take a drive to take in the fall colors of Alaska. Went north of Fairbanks to Livengood and then towards Minto Alaska. It was very overcast and raining hard most of the day. This is the Tolovana River with banks of gold. I sat by this river quite a while, taking in the serene river.
Photos from me will be of places or animals I have seen in the past for a while. I fell and broke my left arm and it will be immoblized for 6 to 8 weeks. By then, autumn will be past and snow will be on the ground. Until then, my cameras will sit patiently, waiting to see what they can find while I sit impatently waiting to use them.
