I'd sat on the freezing cold sea front, under a cloudy drizzly sky for nearly an hour. My hopes of seeing the eclipse were slowly dwindling. When suddenly a gap appeared in the cloud, a smile appeared on my face bigger than the visible crescent of the Sun :-))

I'd managed to see it just before maximum coverage, now my hopes had risen again, well worth sitting in the cold :-))

I am the daughter of Earth and Water,

And the nursling of the Sky;

I pass through the pores of the ocean and shores;

I change, but I cannot die.

We have had a rather pleasant spell of sunny weather but it looks like its come to an end. We had rain last night and strong winds are forecast for the rest of the week! But it was nice while it lasted!

Just another cool cloud over Albuquerque, NM.

I think I'll re-edit this one and exchange it for the current image.

Although there was no sunshine today, it was still a good day to go out shooting. I love the reflection of this building.

EB CP train 40B is approaching Watertown, WI. on a typical cloudy November day. The brilliant weather forecasters had called for sunny skies across Wisconsin this day, but that was not the case. The CP Executives are on there way to Kansas City, with a stop off in Bensenville.

SIGMA DP2 QUATTRO

I hadn't used my Quattro for ages. I heard that the new firmware and SPP work much better so I gave it a shot. The way I process is different from the RAW files I take with normal bayer DSLRs and I need to work on it. The image quality it presents is certainly better than when it came out. I'm now debating whether or not to get a DP0Q.
