A lenticular cloud in the process of breaking up cruises over one of the many lakes on Beartooth Pass. Was fascinated by the unique shape.
Thanks for taking a look!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
These days, if we were lucky, such as this early morning, we could spot the sun for a few minutes (only if we woke up early), and then lost it to the thick cloud for the rest of the day.
I wish you a much better weather; stay safe and be healthy!
Golden sunset vista from old historic castle buildings that provided an excellent frame and contrast at Loch Ness, Scotland (Archives). No monster spotted!
Some impressive clouds seen at Good Harbor beach in Gloucester. It was low tide when I visited, and the reflections in the wet sand were quite fascinating.
Note "Salt Island" on the right, which can be accessed by walking across at really low tides. Also, in the far distance you can make out the dual lighthouses of Thacher Island.
Works best when displayed in large. Feel free to zoom in.
Taken from a speeding car hand-held siuation and getting difficult because of vibration and shaking!

Newly processed 08-28-19. I have presented other photos taken at the same time with Lifeguard boats on the beach backed by this glorious cloudscape.
The Cabrillo Beach Lifeguards were hosting a rowing contest that afternoon and were pulling their boats down to the water's edge.
It was also threatening to rain, but didn't, and I got some of my favorite cloudscapes along the Palos Verdes Peninsula that day.
