The effects of the lowering ground elevation combined with the passage of the front to the East (left) can be seen clearly in the expanding brightness and increased visibility (looking West) and rising cloudbase.

These grainy shots are not the best ever Reds shots, however!! They are a tribute to undoubtedly the best Aerobatic Display Team. The Reds performed at Belfast City on 4 October 2008 in a cloudbase around 1500feet in pouring rain. No one expected a display everyone was once again thrilled at the skill on display. Their guiding motto is ‘Eclat’ which means brilliance, and they proved that again.

In the original resolution, Scrappy is visible at cloudbase at the end of Greenwalls, and Dave is just barely visible along the flank of Puu Konahuanui, on his first attempt to squeak around it
