the "Palmenhaus" in Schönbrunn Palace Park (Vienna) is one of the largest botanical exhibits of its kind | Das Schönbrunner Palmenhaus (eröffnet 1882) im Schlosspark Schönbrunn (Wien) gehört zu den drei größten seiner Art. Es beherbergt rund 4.500 Pflanzenarten.
Alter Ackerweg entlang der Sumpfseewiesen und Felder von Güstrow. Der Raps steht kurz vor der Blüte. Die dunklen Wolken kommen bedrohlich näher, färben die Landschaft aber zusammen mit der tief stehenden Sonne in ein schönes warmes Licht.
At sea off the coast of Argentina, a cloud appeared that stretched across the horizon, looking like a twisted rope or towel miles long. This type of cloud formation is called a Roll Cloud, a relatively rare type of Arcus cloud. They are completely detached from other cloud features and usually, but not always, seen at sea. The name comes from their appearance of rolling horizontally.
I had to look this one up, as I'd never seen or heard of it before. From many of the comments below, very few others have seen this either.
From Ham Hill, South Somerset. After a totally grey and rainy day the sun broke through briefly in the evening and I went to Ham Hill to get a few shots of the passing weather front. It was cool and clear and I watched a few rooks and a couple of kestrels soaring over the hill.
I noticed the a huge cloud start to billow from my family room and immediately scurried towards downtown to see if I could get lucky with some storm clouds.

Quite possibly the prettiest (and coldest) evening I've had at the Oregon Coast with a camera in my hand to catch it. Look at those spidery clouds! I love it when the sky is mirrored in the sand. It makes me feel like I'm walking through a sunset.

the day before it rained on me hard ALL day.
I did not even take my camera out of the dry sack.
I woke up in the morning and the clouds were in the low valleys .
and everything looked amazing : )

Last year, at the beginning of May we have taken a drive to Beaverhills Natural Area. The road was calling us for the sun was shining, the skies were amazing and the world awakened from winter slumber. Such a pleasure to visit again, even if it is only in pictures ;D
