Viera wetlands, Florida
A couple of other butterflies that were found in the Viera wetlands are shown in comments.
This power station always produces steam but on a cold, clear day with bright sun, it creates some very special clouds.
7 of 10 days here in Alabama are blue skies. Great for the soul, but bad for my art. But I patiently waited and I think I got a perfect sky for this perspective. HSS!
during a day trip from Tokyo I got to this beautiful place and the well known pagoda. Unfortunately the Mount Fuji was covered by clouds. But have a close look to the very light spot in clouds, there you can see a little bit of Fuji-san

Last year, at the beginning of May we have taken a drive to Beaverhills Natural Area. The road was calling us for the sun was shining, the skies were amazing and the world awakened from winter slumber. Such a pleasure to visit again, even if it is only in pictures ;D

Spectacular cloud show this morning through the window.
Polar stratospheric clouds are clouds in the winter polar stratosphere at altitudes of 15,000–25,000 m. They form at very low temperatures, below −78 °C. These temperatures can occur in the lower stratosphere in polar winter.

I can't wait to get back to the Sierras. I hope I get another chance soon.

Colossal cloud sunset over the Solent tonight.
To give an idea of scale that is a huge container ship on the horizon. This cloud formation was thousands of feet high.
A friend told me this is called an Anvil Cloud formation.
