Followed this cloud formation east to Plant City after a long day of production in Tampa. A hurricane in the Atlantic had built an incredible weather system that was producing a spectacular sky. I finally pulled over on Knights Griffin Road to shoot this to the south over an orange grove. The cloud pattern actually looked as if a mountain range had formed over Lakeland. iPhone 4 punched up in SwankoLab with a proprietary formula.

Possible noctilucent cloud as seen from Stokesley, North Yorkshire early in the morning of 21 June 2014. I've never seen these clouds before so I'm not fully sure this is an example! It was low to the north and looked distinctly blue so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt :-)

This is a basic photo of a fall sunrise looking out my front door. All I did to this photo was play a little with the RAW CAMERA image settings to make the colors come out a little richer and cropped it.

It might look silly that I left the silhouette of the tress and house in the foreground but honestly, its what really kept drawing my attention to the photo. I crisp sharp black in the foreground of the amazing red painted cloudy sky.

Why did I call this photo "Nature Daubing"? Well, the unique shapes of the string of clouds and the sharp angle of the early rising sun made the clouds look like a photoshop DAUBING filter was applied. Trust me, there is no PS filter applied to this photo... just post production photo adjustments were used.

I couldn't resist these clouds...they reminded me of the three billy goat gruff...lol

I happened to have my camera with me when I saw this amazing glow coming from the setting sun. There must have been quite a bit of dust in the air from the fertile farmland to create this sight. It made for an awesome sunset.

DataStax at DGI's Cloud Computing Conference

A large cloud building on the horizon at Clingmans Dome in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I wish it had not been so hazy in the park, but through the magic of editing I was able to pull out some great details. I didn't see any lightning coming out of the cloud, but I don't much reason to complain. I feel like this shot has a very "film" appearance to it.
