Cloud picture taken during a recent storm. The same storm that I actually saw a ligtning bolt come down and take out a huge tree about a 1/2 mile from my house!
Clouds over Severn Channel, UK, processed in Lightzone. The lens flare is real unfortunately, but it looks interesting.

Cloud Monster
Clouds are always interesting to watch, their shape the way they move & the colours at dawn or dusk. This cloud structure in particular was a small storm cell developing into the shape of a creature with its mouth wide open about to take a bite & swallow another smaller cloud to build its strength before it rained havoc on the suburbs below.
The sky tells many stories when clouds are present. A large monochromatic print of a detailed cloud-scape on your wall would lead to such conversations of what your very own interpretation is and your story behind what you see.

At 5am the radar/satellite showed the clouds had already moved in, so I'm thinking, sleep in, and no more color theraphy for few days. 7:15, and I start making coffee, go to let the dogs in, and they are PINK (malamute's rarely blush). Looking up, I freaked that my camera was way upstairs in my room! Sore legs (from 1st day of snowboarding), I ran, grabbed the camera and dashed outside in my bare feet (22F/-6C) to capture this 'all-in-camera' exposure. I think it was worth the cold toes. Now if I can just make it until Monday when this big storm leaves and the colorful sunlight returns. That's all what I want for xmas this year = ).
