Summer thunderheads always facinated me, they are just as magnificent viewing from on the ground as they are while your flying.
I had seen photos of these clouds before so when we were in the Tetons and I spotted them, I was really excited. AFAIK, these types of formations don't occur where I live.

Took this as my first shot once I got to the Sea. I ate lunch and this one huge lone cloud moved past me from west to east as I chowed down.

A happenstance photo I took driving home from work one night when the clouds were breaking over the Artichoke reservoir in West Newbury.
Passat is a German four masted steel barque and one of the Flying P-Liners, the famous sailing ships of the German shipping company F. Laeisz. The ship is now a youth hostel, venue and museum ship anchored in Travemünde, a borough of Lübeck, Germany. (Wikipedia)
