Enormous cloud formations dominate the landscape on a hot, humid, summer's day in rural Queen Anne's County, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

The morning was cold...but so worth

getting out there.

Had a ball last night , went to the lake for a sunset and when i got there i didnt even take the camera out of the car. But then the lightning arrived. First time at it , i was so excited .

It feels like we're getting teased here in Riga. Sun shows up for a little while in the morning, giving us hope that today might be the day to spend more time outside. However it turns out not to be true. I'm so looking forward to March and spring!

Colors in the clouds over Lakeside Marina during another summer sunset in Lorain.

As far as I know, the colours are caused by the diffraction of sunlight by a thin layer of cloud made up of similar-sized small water droplets or ice crystals.

Well, I know this is similar to one of the ones I posted below...but it was taken slightly earlier....hence the sky is less intense and bluer...:O))

Well...just one more day to go till the weekend then....thank god for that...the first week back to work after having two weeks off has been a Killer...I think I'll spend Saturday sleeping it off..lol

A pic of the sky and the clouds like 20 minutes ago. Couldn't get a better shot because the wind was amazingly strong.

I'm pretty sure that the mountains are either the Rockies or Sierra Nevadas. The plane's window was dirty and there was lots of haze, and I'm glad to have been able to do some cleanup.

Nice morning clouds can clearly be spotted through the window of the A320 operated by Thai Air Asia as FD2772 flying from Bangkok to Phnom Penh. This was a shortly one hour flight, and we were about to be on the ground around 8 am.

Some nice clouds in the morning. We don't see much clouds in San Diego so its nice to see them. Russian River, California, USA

Masai Mara engulfed in a thick layer of clouds as the sun sets at a distance. Rain is also bashing a zone in Mara visible as a spout on the right side. Haven't seen such thick clouds before or after that day.
