I was about to go for lunch when I saw the clouds overhead. Postponing my lunch, I grabbed my camera, slapped on my go-to landscape lens, drove to a park, and matched the clouds with the treeline. After lunch, the clouds had largely burned off. Sometimes the best shots are all around you.
While it was the sunset on the west side, there was this pink cloud on the east side of the Auckland Harbour

It's quite weird to see this kind of cloud at the beginning of February. Anyway, looks like today has been the first chase day of 2017 with this "winterly" shelf cloud.
There is a Guernsey saying west is best, it normally relates to the West show which in fact is situated to the left of Fort Saumerez . But is aptly sums up the sunsets which we get on the west coast of Guernsey in fact I took this picture from Vazon bay.

Week #10 ~ Up High
Looking down over Bray which had some interesting clouds over the seafront today.
A tornado in the Rozel, Kansas sequence. The first was rated EF4. Haven't looked on the followups, but likely weak. A good reason to stay back is the overall view.
