Painted clouds decorating the evening sky over south Montana. The variety of skies and cloud formations in this part of the world is amazing and often changes hour by hour.
Went out for a bike ride along the DeBoville Slough. The wind was blowing in lots of dark stormy clouds as cell passed by. I stayed dry but it was a very cool day with the wind.

Last evening was a very rainy evening here on the farm. We have been blessed to have plentiful rain fall this week. The weather has put more snow in the high elevations and it has provided the much needed moisture to the fields here in our area to help the newly planted crops sprout and grow without as much irrigation.
I was thrilled when I looked to the east from our home and saw the amazing clouds reflecting the late evening sun. There was quite a bit of lighting in these clouds, but I was unable catch that part of the event.
Thanks for comments and stopping by,
Susan

A re-edit of an image from 2012, taken at the north Narrabeen rock shelf on the northern beaches of Sydney. A lone photographer capturing the grey sunrise adds scale to the scene.

This is about the highest point in Allegan County, Michigan. The low clouds have a great view of the growing soy beans.
I liked this interesting cloud formation on a summers evening.
It's been fairly heavily processed to give it a more surreal (hopefully) effect.
