"Closure only comes with letting go,
letting go starts with not looking back."

I thought this could be seen as a bit of a metaphor...end of the line, a sad shadow of it in its prime, dead and empty, but green shoots are going to slowly hide it and fill from ground to sky with concealing leaves...forgotten and possibly even forgiven.
Thank you very much for viewing my photos and for the favorites!

I wish you road closure free happy weekend! :)
** I missed that the autotag forget to say that it's 'food'. I corrected it ;)

This pub is co-owned by TV Presenter, James May, who lives nearby. Together with his business partner they rescued the pub from closure.
The pub is a pleasant place to visit & serves decent food.

Wednesday night's sunset....I was prepping the pool for closure this upcoming weekend while keeping an eye on the sky. It got to about 7PM and I figured we might get a good one. It was windy this evening so a reflection with a pond was out of the question with too much water movement. So I had this shot that I imagined a couple weeks back that I would use when I have little time to decide where to go. So I packed my gear and headed to this location and was not disappointed with the sunset. It was a little weird standing under these power lines for about 45 minutes listening to the sizzle and pop when that much electricity flows through these lines.
Yes..... it was that bright with the yellows and oranges.
A trip in the car this morning led me to the Nant Mill Country Park at Coedpoeth. I'd seen several shots from here over the years but never made the effort to get there. Except for this falls there's not a great deal more to photograph but it's a lovely place to go for a short walk and ideal if you have dogs. It's clear that we're in the last few weeks of autumn as the leaves are delicately holding on to the trees. I saw an image captured from here a few weeks back after the heavy rain we had and where I took this was completely submerged then. Thanks Mike for the final push to get there.
Quando la porta della felicità si chiude, un’altra si apre, ma tante volte guardiamo così a lungo a quella chiusa, che non vediamo quella che è stata aperta per noi.
When happiness’ door closes, another one opens, but many times we look for so long at the closed one, that we don’t see the one that has been opened for us.

This is officially the last shot i'm uploading from this Trial Harbour series.
It's been a seriously busy week for me - we started another company, completely renovated my office, and somehow did a mountain of work. Somewhere along the way I lost my creative side. I haven't even picked up my camera for a few weeks now (other than to take before/ after shots of the office renovations).
I'm not sure what will happen, but from here on my photostream will be different. Better hopefully, I just need my creative edge to return. So i'm not sure how long i'll be gone, but i'll be back sometime.
Resurfacing work on the Kirkstone Pass meant that the Patterdale Road made an unusually peaceful stroll back to Windermere after a short evening walk. This is a view from the pavement. And I don't know why the sheep on the right is pulling that pose, it's not a common one..
