Been playing with the macro setting on my caplio - it's really good! (For such a small camera).
Great winter light this morning too.
Taken with a 55mm Nikon Micro lens. Vivitar 285 HV flash triggered via PC cord and shot into a reflector held above the bubble. A much larger diffusion screen would be preferable. Or a translucent reflector with the flash shooting through that. Maybe another time!

My computer is playing up so I've had to borrow a laptop, hopefully only until tomorrow though. No editing software so this is straight out of my little compact. Kinda liberating knowing that there's no messing about to be done after taking the shot.

Now almost swallowed by greenery, the Boothtown Aqueduct, in Greystanes, was built in 1883, but only used until 1907.
Hidden in the middle of Western Sydney suburbia, It is a miracle that It has survived.
I cant believe I grew up only about 5km from here, for 25 years, and never knew it was there!
An amazing little piece of history.
