Strobist details: 622 to the left into brolly box. 285HV to the right into silver umbrella. Bare 285HV in the rear right as a backlight. All optically triggered from the 144PC in my EP-3's hotshoe.

The look I get accompanied by, "Okay, that's enough. Stop taking pictures of me. Now."

During hot days this comes in handy!

This cutie was bouncing about my kitchen. I approached in a calm, authoritative fashion, while speaking softly, and convinced it that I was not malevolent. Twenty minutes after release, I was in the back yard and it returned, scrutinizing me at a distance ranging from 5 to 15 feet for a period of 4 to 5 minutes.

**Its plumage is best appreciated in the 'large' size.**

Life is good.

A bit of research shows it to be a female Calliope Hummingbird.

I'm happy with how this turned out. It has the mysterious dreamlike quality I was after. It almost looks computer-generated, though it is a macro shot of a piece of a clematis vine. The background is actually a parking lot. The dark blue "lake" background is the sky reflected in a shallow puddle.

there are quite a few flaws, but I'm pleased with how she turned out for a first try.

Still testing these versions..

It's important to know wxactly which revision of the your motherboard you have. I wish they would make it much more prominent.
