This is a macro photograph of a dried purple stamen of a Christmas Cactus, which is covered with vibrant yellow pollen. The juxtaposition of purple and yellow creates a dreamy and abstract visual effect in the image.

Purple tendrils dance with grace,

In a world of hues, find their place.

Golden pollen, sprinkled light,

Glistens softly, to our delight.

A cosmic dance in micro view,

Life's small wonders, miniature, true.

Where beauty in the smallest things,

Gives the soul its upward wings.

Bears are extraordinarily intelligent animals. They have far superior navigation skills to humans; excellent memories; large brain to body ratio; and use tools in various contexts from play to hunting.

Bears care deeply about family members. They will risk their lives and even fight to the death in order to save a cub or sibling from danger.

This is the macro of a Great Spangled Fritillary butterfly. They love open habitats, moist meadows, deciduous woodlands, moist conifer and oak woods. Just one generation a year. Their color varies according to the area, eastern males are orange-brown, western males more orange, darker towards the base and with black markings and spots. The females are tan instead of orange, and has a greater dark area at the wings base.

My photography is mostly nature. I enjoy macro photography a lot, but it is difficult to decide what a I like the most about this art.
