Clockwork robots from BBC Doctor Who series, in the window of Hamleys Toyshop, Regent Street, London.
Built for my Meccano club,s challenge to build a bicycle model that can go along on two wheels without falling over. My model is powered by a tiny Meccano "magic" clockwork motor,making it the Worlds first clockwork motorcycle ! My patented stability system is very obvious.
Finally -after 5 months of living clock-less in my living room- I found this beauty in the Swedish shopping centre "Ahlens City"! Had a similar one on my eBay list but fortunately this one was much more priceless :)
So now my half-Swedish IKEA living room is completed with this Swedish immigrant!
This was a mistake while I was trying to make something else, but I love love love how it came out!! Cast from one of my original relief clockworks, and then coated in resin, so it's smooth.
