These are just some photos we took at Clockwork Alchemy in San Jose. Just a wonderful group of people there.
Every morning when I get out of the bathroom, I see this one laying on the bed.
He goes into watch dog mode and perks his ears up because he hears people outside walking, talking, whatever. Then he does his growl/buff like he's intimidating or something.
But clearly he doesn't care enough to do anything about it, so he just lays back down and sleeps.
Every morning. No joke. Lazy bum ;)
I took the same pictures two years ago - I tried to retake it yesterday - I ended up not liking it very much. So here is the third and hopefully last try.
Nuthatches remind me of clockwork toys that have been wound up and left to skitter along tree trunks. To photograph one in a rare moment of stillness is a privilege. I never get bored of watching them.
Built for my Meccano club,s challenge to build a bicycle model that can go along on two wheels without falling over. My model is powered by a tiny Meccano "magic" clockwork motor,making it the Worlds first clockwork motorcycle ! My patented stability system is very obvious.
