Sunbeams in the Clock Tower of the now abandoned 125 year old Hartwood Hospital and Lunatic Asylum in central Scotland

You get good views from the top of the clocktower and it's terraces, both of the Basilica next door and northward over the old city.

It's time to go home.

Hong Kong clock tower in tsim tsa tsui. One of the historic buildings in hong kong left by the british.

I photographed this church with plain a gray sky. So I added an actual picture of clouds I photographed recently and it looked better. But I've been trying to soften my images and of all the variations I tried (and there were many) this one was the most pleasing. Not the most dramatic, but the softest.

This Photo was taken while driving down west Chicago,

When I take this route, I usually see some nice buildings and with construction sometimes going on, lucky me the traffic stopped in front of this church ⛪️-

Not really much of the church can be seen, but what I saw was good enough for me.

The reason of the title of the photo is for 2 reasons, 1 the sunny 🌞 day turning cloudy and the 2nd reason is that both ⏰ had a different time,

I do not know the reason but it work out well for the title.

Hopefully you guys like it as much as I do. Have a good day.

Chelsea has a beautiful clock tower.

Yar. This is Dawson's Clocktower. It was abandoned, so he moved in. He used to live in an empty room above a playhouse, but grew bored of that. It's not as fun to live up in an apartment above the stage when no one knows what the heck you're going on about when you pretend to be the Phantom of the Opera....*sigh*

Our annual christmas walk with our photo club IOPC was held in downtown Spokane this year. I spent the entire time in the park, maybe I'll get some christmas pics later?

Conagra clock tower.

Clock tower at the former stables on the the grounds of Ballymascanlon Hotel.

While there was sunshine, there was also a cold wind so we decided to move away from the coast to somewhere more sheltered for our evening walk.

Bushmills Clocktower was erected by Francis Macnaghten in 1874.

Main St, Bushmills, County Antrim, Northern Ireland

Bushmills is a village on the north coast of County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Bushmills had a population of 1,247 in the 2021 Census. It is located 60 miles from Belfast, 11 miles from Ballycastle and 9 miles from Coleraine. The village owes its name to the River Bush and to a large watermill that was built there in the early 17th century. It is home to the Old Bushmills Distillery, which produces Irish whiskey, and is near the Giant's Causeway. [Wikipedia]

Some beautiful early evening sunlight illuminating the Torre del Mangia clocktower on the main Piazza del Campo in central Siena.

As was the nature of our trip to Tuscany, we never had very long in any one place. Siena was no different as we arrived at about 5pm and spent about two hours there. Whilst it was a great time to wander round the city unfortunately the famous tower and most churches etc were already closed. I'd definitely like to go back some time and spend a few days there.

From Wikipedia : "The Torre del Mangia is a tower in Siena, in the Tuscany region of Italy. Built in 1338-1348, it is located in the Piazza del Campo, Siena's premier square, adjacent to the Palazzo Pubblico (Town Hall). When built it was one of the tallest secular towers in medieval Italy. At 102 m, it is second tallest after Cremona's Torrazzo (112 m (367 ft)), the Asinelli tower in Bologna at 97 m being third.

The tower was built to be exactly the same height as the Siena Cathedral as a sign that the church and the state had equal amounts of power. Literally meaning "Tower of the Eater", the name refers to its first bellringer, Giovanni di Balduccio, nicknamed Mangiaguadagni ("Eat-the-profits", that is "Profit eater") either for his spendthrift tendency, idleness or gluttony."

I think I'm drowning

Asphyxiated

I wanna break this spell

That you've created

You're something beautiful

A contradiction

I wanna play the game

I want the friction

You will be the death of me

You will be the death of me

Bury it

I won't let you bury it

I won't let you smother it

I won't let you murder it

Our time is running out

Our time is running out

You can't push it underground

You can't stop it screaming out

Brighton's town centre clock tower gets strung with these glorious festive lights at Christmas.

Playing with the X100T here again and this time with the in camera miniature effect. I'm almost at the point with this camera where it is going to replace £7000's worth of 5d MK3 and lenses for most of my shooting.....

I had a convenient sitting place in the shadow on the stone bench of the Court Palace.

The beautiful clocktower building in the old port of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

It was a beautiful summer day with clear skies which increased contrast with the historical building.
