Time for another bit of drama.
This is the clocktower at Roath Park lake, Cardiff.
It's called the Scott Memorial, and was built in 1915.

I'm not usually a fan of overcooked HDR, but it just seemed to work for me.

Wikipedia: The Tour du Leughenaer is an octagonal tower 30m high in Dunkirk. Erected around 1450, this tower is the oldest monument in the city. It was built by Jacques Desfontaines, surrounded in the 18th century by a port surveillance platform, then made higher in 1814 to install a lighthouse. It has retained a large part of its 19th century inner workings. In 1995 it became the equivalent of a listed building.

Autoracks shuffle through the night past the intermediates at mile 2.2 of the North Toronto Sub...the train would gradually ease to a stop for a restrictive signal at Leaside, presumably to wait for a westbound or due to Toronto Yard being unable to accept H17's consist.

The Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad (BSAS) or Sultan Abdul Samad Building was built by the British during colonial times as their administrative HQ in Kuala Lumpur. After Malaya gained independence, it served as the courthouse. Before the Petronas Twin Towers were built, this served as the main landmark and symbol of the city, facing Merdeka or Independence Square. Now, after refurbishment, it is open to the public with exhibition rooms displaying the history and cuture of the city, with cafes and a shop too.
The sun rises on a cold December morning on the Hudson River waterfront as the annual NJ Transit "Railmen for Children" holiday charity train holds the depot on Track 8 waiting to head west for a round trip to Port Morris.
Leading the train is a pair of ex-CNJ GP40Ps with the 4109 recently being painted as a tribute to the Central Railroad of New Jersey.
