Cut surrounds from foamcorewhich I layered, covered with paper mache strips which I tore from rice paper I watercolored. When the mache was dry I added "jewels," stones, paper shapes, rubber stamping and additional paint.

This is a new whimsy,cartoonist, dog clock made of high fire ceramics and various glazes. He was created with an over-sized, red spike collar with a small pewter tag saying, "Faith." I put a ceramic bone at the end of the pendulum and added a quartz movement for accurate time keeping.

This whimsical monkey pendulum clock measures approx.10"x10" and hid polka dot bow tie acts as the pendulum. The laser print image has hand painted touches and a satin varnish and is mounted on 1/4" poplar plywood. The quartz mechanism requires one AA battery. Please note that there are no numbers on this clock.
