The Prague astronomical clock, or Prague orloj (Czech: Pražský orloj [praʃskiː orloj]), is a medieval astronomical clock located in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest one still operating.
Common name: Bush Clock Vine, King's Mantle
Botanical name: Thunbergia erecta (syn. Meyenia erecta)

Family: Acanthaceae (acanthus or ruellia family)

Origin: Tropical Africa
An upright shrub with dark green leaves and an abundant display of trumpet shaped purple flowers with yellow throats. It can be grown as a bush with weeping branches or it can be trained like a vine. It is not always easy to come by in the nursery. The flowers are absolutely wonderful and it seems to bloom from early spring until late summer or fall.

comes down for repair. For reasons lost in the past it had been shot at and the face damaged. The chime has been silent for some years and I'm aprehensive, as we live but 30 yards from the tower that, it will start chiming through the night.
As i only have 11 Golly Trolls, and wanted to make a clock, i decided to add my large Golly in! All good fun! :O)

Although these clocks and monitors look like something from Wall Street, I found them mounted above the door to a pub in Barcelona. The screens actually display the prices of the various beers that they offered.

Henderson the Jeweller’s clock, now adorned by the McAfee name, although the gold H remains as a subtle hint to its origins.
Henderson The Jewellers is sadly no longer in business. It was established in Coatbridge in 1886 and had, at its height, operated around 30 stores across Scotland.
