Close up of my Great Grandfather and Grandfather's clock from the late 1800's. I've had it completely rebuilt. The clocksmith told me to expect it to be off +/- 5 mintues/week. It's off +/- 5 seconds a week. Better than new!
My first time using Diafine and Tri-X. What a combination. I was really worried that the mid-tones would disappear shooting at ISO 1600, but everything's there. As an experiment, I shot each scene at 11600 and 800. The 800 had a definite lack of contrast and looked flat. 1600 it is.

This Bundy clock is situated at the Severn Valley Railway Kidderminster, and it was was in regular use providing a reliable method of time recording for the Birmingham Bus and Tram system. The unit was re-commissioned by Councillor Worrall, the Chairman of the West Midlands Passenger Transport Authority at a special ceremony on 14th October 2001.
A paper tape transport with recording printer sits in the centre box. The time clock itself, can be seen at the top of the stack. A transfer drive spindle synchronises the two units.
The driver would place a key coded to his duty, in a slot in the centre box and turn it. The print mechanism then printed his key number and the arrival time on the paper tape.
Mon premier MOC !
L'Horloge indique les secondes, minutes et heures.
Le Coucou ( un perroquet lol ) est réglée pour se déclancher une fois par heure.
Par manque de pièces, elle n'a pas encore une grande autonomie, mais dure plusieurs minutes.

My first MOC !
The clock indicates the seconds, minutes and hours.
The Cuckoo ( a parrot lol ) is set to trigger once per hour.
For lack of parts, it still lacks a lot of autonomy, but lasts for several minutes.

I arrived at the University of Birmingham at University Station, and made my way over towards the Bristol Road, before finding a route towards Cannon Hill Park (off the Pershore Road).

"Built in 1880 for the rail car construction factory and executive offices of Pullman's Palace Car Company, this building complex was one of the most beautiful industrial landscapes in America.
In 1991, the State of Illinois purchased the Clock Tower and Administration Building to comprise the Illinois Pullman State Historic Site. The 12.66-acre site is at the northeast corner of 111th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue, directly north of the Hotel Florence.
After standing for 117 years as a Pullman landmark, the Clock Tower and Administration Building were seriously damaged by a tragic fire set by an arsonist on December 1, 1998.
The Illinois Historic Preservation Agency reports that the $3.4 million post-fire stabilization of the buildings is substantially completed. The tower and clock were rebuilt and installed on site in late 2005."
