I took a portrait photography workshop on the weekend, which was fantastic! There were four parts - shooting in direct sunlight, shooting in open shade, and then shooting indoors with available light. That meant a dark room with only windows and reflectors for lighting. At the end, we were given one of the models to do whatever we wanted with. I suggested Marie climb a tree and she was very willing and had a lot of fun with it.

WH: Life is an adventure

I know what your thinking- "Chameleon". Uncanny my ability to camouflage myself to my surroundings isn't it.

It was raining when I did this. And that step up was high given a remote timer- my knees let me know they were not impressed. Neither was the dog. He kept letting me know he was bored. Yes I dog walk in vintage tea dresses and Docs in the rain.

I slid down the hill on my front in the mud once after missing my footing in vintage fur, fishnets and cowboy boots. Elegant I am not.

Got my neighbor to come outside with me today. We climbed a tree and took pictures, it was fun. i am sure there will be more uploaded later. Not including these that will be put in comments.

Ah so i guess I will have to break down and buy that Pro account soon. I went to reference a photo to a friend but realized we cant see it because its past the 200 mark.

Today was a long day, and now my throat hurts. Its all scratchy, I feel like I can only swallow half as much. Its like...constricted. And idk why. I dont feel sick. Its just my throat :(

Moments of Laughter

While out photographing on the Wild Pacific Trail today these three college age girls passed by us just laughing and enjoying each other’s company and the snowy day. On the way out they were climbing a tree and just giggling and laughing. It was so cute, I asked if I could take their photo. They all laughed and agreed! It was such a fun moment. As we walked away Len turns to me and said, “We need to have more moments like those girls where we just laugh at nothing”. We both laughed and I said “We just did!”

To you girls: thanks for making our day, and to all my past students I want you to know I really miss teaching college kids!

Obviously I was weak and caved to the ultimate awesome of those socks. I feel like such a sucker. But he really loves those socks and those incredibly bright shoes.

Up a tree. You can see the shoes from space, they are so neon bright. Really. No kidding.
